Left-Hand or Right-Hand Feeder – Choose Your Configuration

Most boilers are available in two configurations: right-hand feeder or left-hand feeder. This choice is critical for proper installation in your boiler room, taking into account the position of doors, fuel storage, and service access. Both configurations are available for PROSAT WE, PEREKO KSM, Defro Komfort Eko LUX, Stalmark EKO VEGAS, Metal-Fach SMART EKO, OGNIWO EKO PLUS, and KRS TECH DUO series.

Screw Feeder vs. Retort Feeder

Boilers with screw feeders (PROSAT WE/WS, PEREKO KSM and Q-PER, Defro Komfort Eko LUX, Stalmark EKO VEGAS, Metal-Fach SMART EKO, OGNIWO EKO PLUS) allow flexible fuel dosing and are the most popular choice for residential heating. Retort burner boilers (KRS TECH DUO 18–100 kW) offer superior protection against flame backfire and are preferred in more demanding applications.
