Boilers for pellets compact
Pellets are compressed biomass in the shape of a cylinder with a diameter of 5-8 mm. Wood waste is pressed into tight, tiny rolls. The very high forces acting during squeezing result in a large amount of fuel being contained in the small volume of the resulting product. Pellets have a negligible (approx. 1%) ash content, which makes them a very effective fuel (99% of the fuel is converted into energy).
