R-12b – Wired Room Controller with Air Humidity Measurement

TECH R-12b is a dedicated wired room controller designed for precise temperature control in individual heating zones. The device features an integrated temperature sensor and air humidity sensor, enabling continuous monitoring of the conditions within the room.

The controller communicates with the system via the TECH SBUS bus and is designed to work with L-4X Wi-Fi, L-X Wi-Fi and L-12 devices. The controller is powered directly from the main controller, eliminating the need for additional batteries.

Precise Temperature and Humidity Control

The R-12b continuously monitors room temperature and air humidity. Current parameters are displayed on the clear LCD screen. The user can conveniently adjust the set temperature for the respective zone, either permanently or using a timed temperature limitation.

Floor Temperature Measurement

The R-12b controller allows an additional NTC floor temperature sensor to be connected. This solution enables monitoring of the floor surface temperature, increasing user comfort while helping to protect the floor from excessive heating.

TECH SBUS Communication

Wired communication via TECH SBUS ensures stable data exchange between the controller and the system control unit. The R-12b is designed to work with systems using L-4X Wi-Fi, L-X Wi-Fi and L-12 controllers, forming part of a zone-based heating control system.

Modern Glass Design

R-12b features an elegant glass front panel that combines a modern appearance with functionality. The white and black versions allow the controller to be matched to a variety of interior designs. Touch-sensitive buttons provide convenient operation, while the compact design enables neat wall installation.

Installation and Design

The controller is designed for surface mounting and can also be installed on a standard 60 mm electrical box. Its compact dimensions of 84.5 × 84.5 × 16 mm allow it to blend seamlessly into modern heating installations.
