Description
Connections: Locked connection with fixed internal thread 1/2"
Warranty: 25 years - facilities with microclimate characteristic of residential, office, government buildings, etc.
Warranty: 10 years - facilities with above-average air humidity and increased sanitary-hygienic conditions such as swimming pools, car washes, dryers, floating units, service premises and all industrial facilities including port infrastructure.
The REGULUS - Sollarius system radiator consists of two systems: a water system and a heat delivery system.
Water system – built from evenly distributed horizontal copper heating pipes inside the radiator, connected at the ends by vertical copper collecting manifolds. The connection of heating pipes with manifolds is made by soldering (hard solder).
Heat delivery system – built from aluminum sheet fins positioned vertically on the heating pipes of the water system. The appropriately bent front and rear edges of the fins fit tightly together, forming the front and rear walls of the radiator.
The connection of copper with aluminum is a dry connection, therefore no electrochemical phenomenon occurs in it.
Surface finish
Degreasing and powder coating, standard in white (RAL 9003), any color from the RAL palette is available upon request. Additionally, the special color version Regulus METALLIC is offered – polished aluminum surface covered with colorless powder paint
Unique features of REGULUS-system radiators
- very large heat dissipation surface + low own weight = high heating dynamics
- radiators quickly reach full rated power for a given supply temperature and are characterized by minimal thermal inertia
- high efficiency also at low supply temperatures
- resistance to variable and high pressure
- light – easy to transport and install
- high corrosion resistance
- high efficiency resulting from the properties of materials used
- long warranty period for both open and closed systems
Standard equipment
- factory-installed thermostat valve with pre-setting
- air vent
- hangers (stands for free-standing radiators)
- complete set of seals
- bolts, expansion dowels
- o-rings
The materials from which the radiator is made - copper and aluminum - are light and have a high heat conduction coefficient (several times higher than steel and cast iron). This promotes very intensive heat distribution throughout the entire radiator structure and heat dissipation even with a small temperature difference - between the radiator and the surroundings. Radiators "REGULUS -system" are characterized by high corrosion resistance, which significantly extends their service life and reduces investment costs. They do not require the use of corrosion inhibitors. Both the copper water system and the aluminum heat dissipation fins do not undergo destructive corrosion - as is the case with radiators made from other materials (e.g. steel). Very small water capacity ensures very good and efficient operation in modern, controlled central heating systems.
