Fire-resistant sealant FIRE SEALANT
Single-component sealing compound based on water glass for areas exposed to direct contact with fire.
Application: used to seal the gap between the connector and the boiler nozzle.
Other applications:
- sealing areas exposed to direct contact with fire, such as fireplace interiors, furnaces, fireplaces, grills, etc.
- mounting and sealing elements made of stone, concrete and steel, such as fireplace inserts
- sealing and jointing of fire-resistant bricks
- sealing elements of flue gas ducts
Properties:
- after hardening permanently resistant to temperatures up to +
- fire-resistant
- well adhered to building ceramics, chamotte, concrete, stone and alloy steel
- easy to apply regardless of surface shape
- contains no asbestos
- resistant to SO2, SO3 and NO2 (applies to concentrations typical for heaters, fireplaces and home-use furnaces)
- after hardening inelastic (do not use for expansion joints)
