Deflector for EKO-Tech boiler with capacities: 18, 19 kW
The deflector is installed in the boiler with an Archimedean screw feeder. It is suspended above the combustion chamber.
The deflector is an operating component of the boiler and, like the grate in classic boilers, is subject to wear, which is why it needs to be replaced after some time. The service life of the deflector is significantly shortened when the fan's air supply is too large and too intense. If the deflector is damaged after a short period of operation, this is not a defect of the boiler but an obvious consequence of injecting excessive amounts of air into the boiler. Aggressive heat from the retort has led to deflector damage. In such a situation, the boiler does not operate as a heating device, but as a blacksmith's furnace in which steel melts and the deflector may burn through.
