Buffer tanks of the ZBE type are used for storing and transferring thermal energy contained in the heating medium. The stored energy is then transferred to the heating system. Buffer tanks can cooperate with various heat sources in central heating installations, such as solid fuel boilers, heat pumps, solar systems, etc.

Using a buffer tank in an installation with a solid fuel boiler allows for even heat uptake and significantly reduces the number of boiler ignitions. Moreover, when the boiler charges the buffer tank, it operates at its rated power, which positively affects its efficiency and lifespan. Buffer tanks are compatible with virtually any type of central heating installation. During installation and operation, it is essential to follow the instructions provided in the manual.
