Description
ES2V/2.0S HE – flat collector with an absorber in the form of a meander, made entirely of copper, designed for vertical installation. It is intended to convert solar radiation energy into useful thermal energy, used for the preparation of hot domestic water, heating pool water or supporting the heat source in a heating installation.
The construction of the collector housing is based on a rigid frame bent from a special, patented by ENSOL aluminum profile. The housing is closed at the bottom with an aluminum sheet, while the cover is made of special, highly transmissive solar glass. The method of mounting the glass pane ensures the tightness of the housing and minimizes thermal stress.
The main element of the collector is the absorber, whose plate is made of copper sheet, covered with a highly selective coating to ensure a high degree of radiation absorption and, consequently, achieve high efficiency of the energy conversion process. The absorber plate is connected using ultrasonic welding with a system of copper pipes through which the working fluid circulates. The meandering structure of the absorber ensures uniform heat absorption by the incoming heating fluid.
Heat losses were minimized by using bottom and side insulation. Specially designed mounting kits, made of aluminum and stainless steel, are used for problem-free and secure mounting of collectors to roof structures at various roof slope angles.
The flat collectors ES2V/2,0HE S and ES2V/2,0HE B have a certificate of compliance with the standard DIN EN 12975-1:2011-01 and DIN EN 9806:2014-03 issued by TÜV Rheinland Immissionsschutz und Energiesysteme GmbH and a Solar Keymark certificate.
