Description
Connections: Blocked connection with fixed internal thread 1/2"
Warranty: 25 years - buildings with microclimate characteristic of residential, office, administrative buildings, etc.
Warranty: 10 years - buildings with above-average air humidity and increased hygiene and sanitation regimes such as swimming pools, car washes, drying rooms, floating units, service premises and all industrial facilities including port infrastructure.
Radiator REGULUS - Sollarius system consists of two systems: a water system and a heat dissipation system.
Water system – is built from horizontally distributed copper heating pipes evenly placed inside the radiator, connected at the ends by vertical copper collecting headers. The connection of heating pipes with headers is made through soldering (hard solder).
Heat dissipation system – is built from aluminum sheet fins positioned vertically on the heating pipes of the water system. Appropriately bent front and rear edges of the fins fit tightly together, forming the front and rear walls of the radiator.
The connection between copper and aluminum is a dry connection, therefore no electrochemical phenomenon occurs in it.
Surface finish
Degreasing and powder coating, standardly in white color (RAL 9003), on request any color from the RAL palette is available. Additionally offered is a special color version Regulus METALLIC – polished aluminum surface covered with colorless powder paint
Unique features of Regulus-system REGULUS radiators
- very large heat dissipation surface + low own weight = high heating dynamics
- radiators quickly reach full rated power for a given supply temperature and are characterized by minimal thermal inertia
- high efficiency also at low supply temperatures
- resistance to variable and high pressure
- lightweight – easy to transport and install
- high corrosion resistance
- high efficiency resulting from the properties of materials used
- long warranty period for both open and closed systems
Standard equipment
- factory built-in thermostatic valve with pre-setting
- air vent
- brackets (stands for freestanding radiators)
- complete set of seals
- screws, wall plugs
- O-rings
The materials from which the radiator is made - copper and aluminum - are lightweight and have a high heat conduction coefficient (several times higher than steel and cast iron). This promotes very intensive heat distribution throughout the entire radiator structure and heat dissipation even at a small temperature difference - between the radiator and the surroundings. Radiators "REGULUS -system" are characterized by high corrosion resistance, which significantly extends their service life and reduces investment costs. They do not require the use of corrosion inhibitors. Both the copper water system and aluminum heat-dissipating fins do not undergo destructive corrosion - as occurs in radiators made from other materials (e.g., steel). Very small water capacity ensures very good and efficient operation in modern, controlled central heating systems.
