Description
Connections: Locked connection with fixed internal thread 1/2"
Warranty: 25 years - buildings with microclimate characteristic of residential, office, government facilities, etc.
Warranty: 10 years - buildings with above-average air humidity and increased hygiene and sanitation standards such as swimming pools, car washes, drying rooms, floating vessels, service facilities and all industrial facilities including port infrastructure.
The REGULUS radiator - Sollarius system consists of two systems: a water system and a heat transfer system.
The water system – is built from evenly distributed horizontal copper heating pipes inside the radiator connected at the ends by vertical copper collecting manifolds. The connection of heating pipes with manifolds is made by soldering (hard solder).
The heat transfer system – is built from aluminum sheet fins positioned vertically on the heating pipes of the water system. Appropriately bent front and rear fin edges fit tightly together forming the front and rear walls of the radiator.
The connection between copper and aluminum is a dry connection, therefore no electrochemical phenomenon occurs in it.
Surface Finishing
Degreasing and powder coating, standardly in white color (RAL 9003), any RAL color is available upon request. Additionally, a special color version Regulus METALLIC is offered – polished aluminum surface covered with colorless powder paint
Unique features of Regulus-system REGULUS radiators
- very large heat transfer surface + low own weight = high heating dynamics
- radiators quickly reach full rated power for a given supply temperature and are characterized by minimal thermal inertia
- high efficiency also at low supply temperatures
- resistance to variable and high pressure
- light – easy to transport and install
- high corrosion resistance
- high efficiency resulting from the properties of used materials
- long warranty period for both open and closed systems
Standard Equipment
- factory-built thermostatic valve with preset adjustment
- air vent
- hangers (stands for freestanding radiators)
- complete set of seals
- bolts, wall plugs
- o-rings
The materials from which the radiator is made - copper and aluminum - are light and have a high thermal conductivity coefficient (several times higher than steel and cast iron). This contributes to very intensive heat distribution throughout the entire radiator structure and heat transfer even with a small temperature difference between the radiator and the environment. The "REGULUS - system" radiators are characterized by high corrosion resistance, which significantly extends their service life and reduces investment costs. They do not require the use of corrosion inhibitors. Both the copper water system and aluminum heat transfer fins are not subject to destructive corrosion - as is the case with radiators made from other materials (e.g., steel). Very low water capacity ensures very good and efficient operation in modern, controlled heating systems.
