In Therma V Split, the indoor and outdoor units are separated. These two components are connected by refrigerant. Water-side elements such as plate heat exchanger, expansion tank and water pump are located in the indoor unit. Furthermore, all water pipes related to heating are located inside the building, which minimizes the risk of water freezing in relation to external conditions.
