Application:
The anti-pollution check valve EA-RV284 is used as class EA protection according to PN-EN 1717 against backflow. It is installed in drinking water systems in places exposed to contact with fluid classified as category 2. It can be used as primary protection on a water supply connection, installed directly behind the water meter.
Operating principle:
The anti-pollution check valve has a movable sealing mushroom that is pushed away from the seat closer or farther depending on the flow rate. When the flow drops to zero, the spring pushes the mushroom to the seat, causing sealing and preventing backflow. The tightness of the valve, in accordance with the guidelines in the standards, is ensured at 3 cm of back water column.
