Heat pumps

Air heat pumps can be used to completely or partially cover the heat demand in a building, and can also be used only to heat domestic hot water. As the name already suggests, the heat carrier is air, the temperature of which can vary between -20 and +40. An important indicator of pump efficiency is the COP parameter; the higher it is at a given air temperature, the greater the efficiency of the pump. The air sucked into the pump may come from outside or from the room, sucked in by the fan, passes through the exchanger (evaporator) and gives off heat to the refrigerant, which is a liquid in the expansion state. Heated by the flowing air, it heats up and begins to evaporate. It is supplied as steam to the compressor, which compresses the evaporated refrigerant. This process causes a significant increase in the temperature of the medium as well as its pressure. The hot refrigerant goes to the heat exchanger (condenser), where it gives off heat to the water. After releasing the heat, it condenses and turns into a liquid and enters the expansion valve, where the pressure is reduced. Later, the refrigerant is fed back to the evaporator, where the entire cycle is repeated. The generated heat can be used to heat only domestic hot water, but also as an additional or main source of home heating. The air-to-water heat pump is easy to install, it does not require expensive excavations and permits, all you need is a hydraulic and electrical connection and the pump is ready for operation.
