Chimney draft limiter W3 made of acid-proof steel 14x14 cm
Stainless Steel Flue Gas Limiter Kominus KA-RCK10 (W3)
The purpose of a flue gas regulator or limiter is to reduce excessive negative pressure in chimney ducts, which can be caused by an improper chimney duct cross-section or variable weather factors such as strong winds.
Principle of Operation
The Kominus flue gas regulator is mounted on the chimney stack, either above or below it. If the draft in the chimney is too strong, the flap of the pendulum opens, allowing air to flow from the boiler room into the chimney. This maintains constant negative pressure in the boiler, ensuring optimal combustion. The knob on the regulator is used to adjust the negative pressure at which the flap opens. Adjustment is achieved by changing the position of the counterweight located under the knob, thereby shifting the center of gravity of the element to ensure that the flap opens at the specified negative pressure. The flue gas regulator can be attached to the chimney stack or to a duct located in a shaft.
