Pressurised expansion vessel for domestic hot water Imera A 18 L - up to 10 bar
Construction: steel, welded tank divided by a flexible membrane.
Upper part is filled with pressured gas and is equipped with a pressure regulation valve. Lower part of the tank is filled with water flowing through it from a heating system. The membrane stabilises pressure inside the system by adjusting to changes of water volume.
Usage:
Pressurised expansion vessel is a protective element for domestic hot water systems that compensates changes of liquid volume at the temperature changes.
Principle and functioning of a pressurised expansion vessel:
- compensation of changes of liquid volume at temperature changes
- maintenance of water pressure in heating systems for specific parameters
- optimization of conditions for heat distribution without heat loss
- autogenous water supplementation in case of losses caused by minor leakages
Pressure expansion tanks are delivered with constantly set-up pressure of the gaseous part. This part is set-up to the corresponding operation pressure during the installation of the expansion tank in the heating system.
