Exchanger with 1 spiral coil GALMET SGW(S) 1500
These are the largest heat exchangers in SGW(S) series and are ideal for storing large quantities of hot water in multi-family, public and industrial buildings.
Connections are located at rear of exchanger for convenient installation, coil placed inside enables quick and economical use. At back there are also boiler sensor muffs and circulation pumps. Circulation pump ensures immediate hot water intake at any point of use.
A large-area coil placed at bottom of tank, connected directly to boiler, ensures high efficiency of unit. Cold water flows through coil to ensure maximum water heating up. Heating up water can be helped by installing a single electric heater in central part of tank. It is possible to install additional heaters on flange in inspection opening.
Long-term maintenance of high temperature of heated water is ensured by insulation made of 100 mm removable soft polyurethane foam (in skay/PVC jacket).
Corrosion resistance is ensured by an evenly coated surface of EXTRA GLASS® ceramic enamel supported by two magnesium anodes depending on capacity. It is recommended to mount two large titanium anodes in capacities of 700-1000 litres and two large titanium anodes in capacities of 1500 litres. They are maintenance-free and do not require periodic replacement.
