The SEMAX BASIC boiler is a wood gasification boiler, it is an ideal solution dedicated to people who appreciate ease of use and low fuel costs. Firewood – logs (split wood) should have a maximum moisture content of Wc=15-20%. Operating the device at nominal power allows for more efficient fuel utilization, and as a result also cleaner emissions released into the atmosphere. The SEMAX BASIC boiler is equipped with a thermometer enabling combustion regulation and device operation, as well as a draft gauge.

ATTENTION! The central heating boiler can only be installed in a heating system together with a buffer tank. The tank is not included in the boiler price.

Advantages of the Metal-Fach SEMAX BASIC boiler:

• Heat exchanger | horizontal convection channels | shelf type - Effective construction adapted for quick cleaning of the heat exchanger from the front. The structure of the boiler heat exchanger ensures high heat recovery from the firebox.
• Chimney outlet at the back of the boiler - The boiler construction has been designed so that the chimney outlet is located at the back. The use of such a solution in a central heating boiler allows for direct discharge of the chimney to the flue.
• Draft gauge - Depending on the temperature of the working fluid, it controls the air inlet valve regulating the air supply to the boiler combustion chamber.
• Mechanical thermometer - Bimetallic mechanical thermometer equipped with a long measuring probe.
• Secondary and primary air inlet - Through six openings, secondary air is drawn in for complete fuel afterburning. The amount of secondary and primary air can be regulated with sliders.
• Smoke damper - Allows for effective smoke discharge from the firebox chamber.
• Swirl generators - Mounted in the convection channels, swirl generators effectively reduce the exhaust gas outlet velocity while maintaining high heat recovery through the water jacket.
• Ceramic channel - The use of ceramic plates as ceramic channel improves the efficiency of the combustion process. The screens raise the temperature in the combustion chamber, extend the path that gases travel through the boiler, and retain particles suspended above the firebox, burning them completely. The boiler thermal efficiency increases, and the exhaust gases have a minimized amount of compounds harmful to the environment.
• Buffer tank (Additional equipment) - Ensures optimal boiler operating conditions. The boiler can operate at optimal power, and excess heat is accumulated in the buffer. The home heating system draws as much heat from the buffer as it needs at any given moment.
