TECH C-8f – wireless floor temperature sensor

TECH C-8f is a wireless floor temperature sensor designed to measure floor temperature in rooms with underfloor heating. The sensor transmits data wirelessly, enabling precise temperature control in heating zones. It is designed for all wireless heating control systems and the Sinum system.

Floor sensor installation

The sensor is installed in the upper layer of the screed, directly underneath panels or tiles. For easy installation and servicing, the manufacturer recommends placing it in a protective conduit.

To ensure accurate measurement and avoid thermal bridges, installation at a distance of approximately 100 cm from the wall is recommended. The sensor helps maintain floor thermal comfort and protects the floor against overheating, regardless of the room temperature.

Installation

The device is designed for easy installation and requires a 60 mm diameter electrical box.

Connection and power supply

Registration – The button located in the centre of the device is used to register the controller in the system. Pressing it starts the pairing process with the central unit. After successful registration, an appropriate message appears on the controller display.

Power supply – 2x AAA 1.5 V batteries

Floor sensor – used to measure floor temperature.

The C-8f has a compact design with a housing thickness of only 19 mm.

Remote control

The device can work with systems that provide remote access via the eModule or new Sinum application. This allows the user to control the system remotely using a smartphone or tablet.

Remote control is available after expanding the system with a main controller that enables communication between the devices and the application.

The devices are designed by Polish engineers and manufactured in Poland.
