The DBV valve is also known as: DBV-1, DBV1 or DBV 1.

Important installation information

During installation it is essential that the valve sensor located at the bottom of the valve is fully immersed in the heating water. The best installation location is directly on the boiler. Installing the valve too far from the boiler may result in incorrect temperature readings.

Installation should be carried out by a qualified technician. Correct operation of the DBV valve is guaranteed only when installed properly and with the correct flow direction according to the markings on the valve body.

Connection instructions

• Install the valve on the hot water outlet or directly on the boiler if possible
• The thermostatic element must be fully immersed
• Connect the discharge pipe to connection "C" to drain hot water
• Connect the cold water supply to connection "A"
• A filter must be installed on the cold water supply line
• Connection "B" should be connected to the heating system return near the boiler

Installation position

• The valve can be installed vertically or horizontally
• For horizontal installation, the hot water outlet "C" must face downwards
• Do not install the valve with the head facing downwards

Required: A backflow prevention valve must be installed on the cold water supply.
