ecoSTER TOUCH Room Controller for PLATINUM ecoMAX 860 P Boiler Controller

A room controller, also known as a room panel, is a device that assists in boiler control through wired communication (4-core cable with maximum length of 30m and cross-section of 0.5 mm²) with the ecoMAX 860 P central heating boiler controller. The controller comes with four menu languages (default Polish, English, German, Czech) with the possibility of adding additional languages upon request.

The PLUM room controller is a TOUCH screen type device where knobs and buttons have been replaced with a touch-sensitive color LCD display. The use of ecoSTER TOUCH enables maximum utilization of all software functions of the PLATINUM ecoMAX 860 P central heating boiler controller.

The ecoSTER TOUCH room controller can only work with the ecoMAX 860 P controller in the PLATINUM version.

The product includes one unit of the ecoSTER TOUCH room controller.

The room panel functions as a programmable room thermostat enabling simple control of room temperatures. When mounted on a wall, it serves as an additional control panel for the central heating boiler controller.

The ecoSTER TOUCH room controller and thermostat allows you to display all boiler controller parameters with a touch panel or can serve as a remote screen (central heating boiler control console).

List of ecoSTER TOUCH room thermostat operating modes

1. Schedule - operating mode within a time interval with night (economical) and day (comfort) temperature within a weekly schedule
2. Economy - maintaining constant night temperature
3. Comfort - maintaining constant day temperature
4. Away from home - set economical temperature for a selected time, after which the previous operating mode is restored
5. Ventilation - this mode will only disable circulation pumps and close mixing valves for a programmed time (1h range), after which the room controller returns to the previous mode
6. Party - mode allows you to set any temperature for a programmed time (2 day range), after which the previous operating mode is activated
7. Vacation - allows you to set constant temperature for a period of 1-60 days, additionally hot water temperature drops to 8 °C. After the set period expires, the previous operating mode is selected
8. Anti-freeze - operating mode with constant set temperature and hot water 8 °C
9. Hot Water Loading - one-time hot water priority from the range of 60h (disables night reductions in the hot water tank schedule and circulation pump)

The ecoSTER TOUCH room controller panel has a number of functions that facilitate the selection of comfortable ambient temperature through a temperature correction parameter (+/-4 °C), enabling optimal temperature regulation with an additional heat source (e.g., fireplace) in the room where it is installed. Additionally, settings can be calibrated using an additional temperature parameter in the form of hysteresis.

It is also worth noting the hotel mode available from the service menu level, which allows blocking of other room thermostats/controllers and editing only basic settings.

The controller has the ability to update software in all connected devices (i.e., boiler controller, room panel) through an available microSD card slot. In case of problems with faulty configuration, the factory reset option will allow you to restore the device settings to the state at the time of purchase.

The controller can control several mixing valves on different heating circuits, however there is no possibility of connecting additional temperature sensors. Therefore, when there is a need to measure temperature in more than one room, it is necessary to install a separate ecoSTER TOUCH room controller in each of them.
