Description
Connections: Locked connection with fixed internal thread 1/2"
Warranty: 25 years - facilities with microclimate characteristic of residential, office buildings, government offices, etc.
Warranty: 10 years - facilities with above-average air humidity and increased sanitary and hygiene regime such as swimming pools, car washes, dryers, floating units, service facilities and all industrial facilities including port infrastructure.
The REGULUS - Sollarius system radiator consists of two systems: a water circuit and a heat emission system.
Water circuit – is built from evenly distributed horizontal copper heating tubes inside the radiator, connected at the ends by vertical copper collecting manifolds. The connection of heating tubes to the manifolds is made through soldering (hard solder).
Heat emission system – is built from aluminum sheet fins mounted vertically on the heating tubes of the water circuit. Appropriately bent front and rear edges of the fins fit tightly together forming the front and rear walls of the radiator.
The connection of copper to aluminum is a dry connection, therefore no electrochemical phenomenon occurs in it.
Surface finish
Degreasing and powder coating, standard white color (RAL 9003), on request any color from the RAL palette is available. Additionally offered is a special color version Regulus METALLIC – polished aluminum surface covered with colorless powder paint
Unique features of REGULUS - system radiators
- very large heat emission surface + small own mass = high heating dynamics
- radiators quickly reach full rated power for a given supply temperature and are characterized by minimal thermal inertia
- high efficiency also at low supply temperatures
- resistance to variable and high pressure
- lightweight – easy to transport and install
- high corrosion resistance
- high efficiency resulting from the properties of the materials used
- long warranty period for both open and closed systems
Standard equipment
- factory-installed thermostatic valve with pre-setting
- air vent
- brackets (stands for freestanding radiators)
- set of seals
- screws, wall plugs
- o-rings
The materials from which the radiator is made - copper and aluminum - are lightweight and have a high thermal conductivity coefficient (several times higher than steel and cast iron). This promotes very intensive heat distribution throughout the entire radiator construction and heat emission even with a small temperature difference - between the radiator and the surroundings. "REGULUS - system" radiators are characterized by high corrosion resistance, which significantly extends their service life and reduces investment costs. They do not require the use of corrosion inhibitors. Both the copper water circuit and the aluminum heat-emitting fins are not subject to destructive corrosion - as is the case with radiators made from other materials (e.g., steel). Very low water capacity ensures very good and efficient operation in modern, controlled heating systems.
