Description
Connections: Blocked connection with fixed internal thread 1/2"
Warranty: 25 years - buildings with microclimate characteristic of residential, office, government buildings, etc
Warranty: 10 years - buildings with above-average air humidity and increased sanitary-hygiene regime such as swimming pools, car washes, dryers, floating units, service facilities and all industrial buildings including port infrastructure.
The radiator REGULUS - Sollarius system consists of two systems: a water system and a heat emission system.
Water system – built from evenly distributed horizontal copper heating pipes inside the radiator connected at the ends by vertical copper collecting headers. The connection of heating pipes with collectors is made by soldering (hard solder).
Heat emission system – built from aluminum sheet fins mounted vertically on the heating pipes of the water system. Appropriately bent front and rear edges of the fins fit tightly together forming the front and rear wall of the radiator.
The connection of copper with aluminum is a dry connection and therefore no electrochemical phenomena occur in it.
Surface finish
Degreasing and powder coating, standard white color (RAL 9003), any color from the RAL palette is available upon request. Additionally offered is a special color version Regulus METALLIC – polished aluminum surface covered with transparent powder coating
Unique features of Regulus-system REGULUS radiators
- very large heat emission surface + small self-weight = high heating dynamics
- radiators quickly reach full rated power for a given supply temperature and are characterized by minimal thermal inertia
- high efficiency also at low supply temperatures
- resistance to variable and high pressure
- lightweight – easy to transport and install
- high corrosion resistance
- high efficiency resulting from the properties of materials used
- long warranty period for both open and closed systems
Standard equipment
- factory-installed thermostatic valve with pre-setting
- air vent
- brackets (stands for free-standing radiators)
- complete set of seals
- bolts, wall plugs
- o-rings
The materials from which the radiator is made - copper and aluminum - are lightweight and have a high heat conduction coefficient (several times higher than steel and cast iron). This contributes to very intense distribution of heat throughout the entire radiator structure and heat emission even with a small temperature difference - between the radiator and surroundings. Radiators "REGULUS - system" are characterized by high corrosion resistance, which significantly extends their service life and reduces investment costs. They do not require the use of corrosion inhibitors. Both the copper water system and aluminum heat-emitting fins do not undergo destructive corrosion - as is the case with radiators made from other materials (e.g. steel). Very small water capacity ensures very good and efficient operation in modern, controlled heating systems.
