Description
Connections: Locked connection with fixed internal thread 1/2"
Warranty: 25 years - for objects with microclimate characteristic of residential units, offices, government buildings, etc.
Warranty: 10 years - for objects with above-average air humidity and increased hygienic-sanitary regime such as swimming pools, car washes, drying facilities, floating units, service facilities and all industrial objects including port infrastructure.
The REGULUS - Sollarius system radiator consists of two systems: a water system and a heat transfer system.
Water system – built with evenly distributed horizontal copper heating tubes inside the radiator, connected at the ends by vertical copper collecting manifolds. The connection of heating tubes with manifolds is made by soldering (hard solder).
Heat transfer system – built with aluminum sheet fins positioned vertically on the heating tubes of the water system. Appropriately bent front and back edges of the fins fit tightly together, forming the front and back wall of the radiator.
The connection of copper with aluminum is a dry connection, therefore no electrochemical phenomenon occurs in it.
Surface Finish
Degreasing and powder coating, standardly in white color (RAL 9003), any color from the RAL palette is available on request. Additionally offered is a special color version Regulus METALLIC – polished aluminum surface covered with colorless powder paint
Unique features of Regulus-system REGULUS radiators
- very large heat transfer surface + low own weight = high heating dynamics
- radiators quickly reach full rated power for a given supply temperature and are characterized by minimal thermal inertia
- high efficiency also at low supply temperatures
- resistance to variable and high pressure
- lightweight – easy to transport and install
- high corrosion resistance
- high efficiency resulting from the properties of the materials used
- long warranty period for both open and closed systems
Standard Equipment
- factory-installed thermostatic valve with pre-setting
- air vent
- brackets (stands for freestanding radiators)
- complete set of seals
- screws, wall plugs
- O-rings
The materials from which the radiator is made - copper and aluminum - are lightweight and have a high thermal conductivity coefficient (several times higher than steel and cast iron). This contributes to very intensive heat distribution throughout the radiator structure and heat transfer even with a small temperature difference - between the radiator and the environment. Radiators "REGULUS - system" are characterized by high corrosion resistance, which significantly extends their service life and reduces investment costs. They do not require the use of corrosion inhibitors. Both the copper water system and the aluminum heat-emitting fins are not subject to destructive corrosion - as is the case with radiators built from other materials (e.g. steel). Very low water capacity ensures very good and efficient operation in modern, controlled heating systems.
