Description
Connections: Blocked connection with fixed internal thread 1/2"
Warranty: 25 years - facilities with microclimate characteristic of residential spaces, offices, public offices, etc.
Warranty: 10 years - facilities with above-average air humidity and increased hygiene and sanitary standards such as swimming pools, car washes, dryers, floating units, service premises and all industrial facilities including port infrastructure.
The REGULUS radiator - Sollarius system consists of two systems: a water system and a heat transfer system.
Water system – constructed from uniformly distributed horizontal copper heating pipes inside the radiator, connected at the ends by vertical copper collecting headers. The connection of heating pipes to the headers is made by soldering (hard solder).
Heat transfer system – constructed from fins made of aluminum sheet mounted vertically on the heating pipes of the water system. The appropriately bent front and rear edges of the fins lie tightly together, forming the front and rear walls of the radiator.
The copper-aluminum connection is a dry connection, therefore no electrochemical phenomenon occurs in it.
Surface Finishing
Degreasing and powder coating, standard in white (RAL 9003), any RAL color is available upon request. Additionally, a special Regulus METALLIC color version is offered – polished aluminum surface covered with transparent powder paint
Unique features of REGULUS - system REGULUS radiators
- very large heat transfer surface + low own weight = high heating dynamics
- radiators quickly reach full rated power for a given supply temperature and are characterized by minimal thermal inertia
- high efficiency even at low supply temperatures
- resistance to variable and high pressure
- light – easy to transport and install
- high corrosion resistance
- high efficiency resulting from the properties of the materials used
- long warranty period for both open and closed systems
Standard Equipment
- factory-installed thermostatic valve with preset adjustment
- air vent
- hooks (stands for free-standing radiators)
- complete set of seals
- screws, dowels
- o-rings
The materials from which the radiator is made - copper and aluminum - are light and have a high thermal conductivity coefficient (several times higher than steel and cast iron). This promotes very intensive heat distribution throughout the entire radiator structure and heat transfer even with a small temperature difference - between the radiator and the environment. Radiators "REGULUS - system" are characterized by high corrosion resistance, which significantly extends their service life and reduces investment costs. They do not require the use of corrosion inhibitors. Both the copper water system and aluminum heat transfer fins are not subject to destructive corrosion - as is the case with radiators made from other materials (e.g., steel). Very low water capacity ensures very good and efficient operation in modern, controlled heating systems.
