The Lambda Probe Module is used to measure the amount of oxygen in exhaust gases.
The use of the Lambda probe module offers a number of advantages:
- reduced carbon monoxide emissions into the atmosphere,
- lower fuel consumption,
- extended service life of boiler components.
The module offers 2 communication options:
- analog voltage output (0–5V),
- CAN bus known from the automotive industry.
The use of the latest generation wideband Lambda probe by Bosch enables precise measurement of oxygen content across its entire range (0–20.9%). Thanks to highly accurate measurements over such a wide scale, the controller is able to precisely control the combustion process across the full power range. The applied Lambda probe is equipped with an electric heater which, by heating the probe, ensures correct measurement regardless of exhaust gas temperature.
