Ogniwo Classic DS boiler is device designed to heat both domestic hot water and central heating water. An integral part is an accumulation tank, which must be operated together with the boiler. The fuel used in the combustion process is coal, which is delivered to the boiler by hand through the back fill door. To fully optimize the combustion process, the incoming air is regulated by means of throttle the lower door, which can be adjusted manually or by a thrust gauge, centre door damper, as well as by two secondary air dampers.

The grate of the boiler is made of grey cast iron and a moving grate alternately. Properly adjusted shape causes the air to be supplied to the whole surface of the grate causing a more efficient combustion process. In daily operation, the grate mechanism was used to remove the excess ash. The rear part of the combustion chamber is a ceramic nozzle consisting of three ceramic fittings. The fittings are replaceable and wearable, they provide the following conditions for optimal combustion of the exhaust gases flowing through the nozzles.
