How It Works

The device generates a small potential difference (approx. 0.7–1.0 V) during water flow. The titanium-zinc anode releases zinc ions, which react with calcium bicarbonate and other components in the water, transforming easily deposited calcite into crystalline forms (aragonite) that are easily flushed out. The zinc compounds formed reduce further limescale buildup while helping create a protective layer (magnetite) that prevents corrosion.
