Description
Dual-fuel boiler for wood and pellets
The dual-fuel wood and pellet boiler is a modern solution combining the advantages of both fuel types, providing the user with great flexibility in fuel selection. The MPM Wood Pell model holds two ECODESIGN certificates – for both pellets and wood, confirming its high efficiency and low emissions.
The MPM Wood Pell boiler enables automatic pellet combustion and shares many features with the MPM Econergy model, such as a touch controller, a self-cleaning burner with a rotating combustion chamber by KIPI, and support for central heating (C.O.) and domestic hot water (C.W.U.) pumps and valves. As an alternative fuel, hardwood logs can be used in gasification mode after switching to manual operation.
Switching between automatic and manual operation modes is performed manually.
Fuel flexibility
The dual-fuel boiler allows the use of both wood and pellets, enabling the user to choose the most cost-effective fuel depending on availability and price. This allows heating costs to be easily optimized according to market conditions.
Efficiency optimization
The unit is designed to maintain high efficiency when burning both pellets and wood, ensuring stable and efficient operation of the heating system under different conditions.
Ecology
Wood and pellets are renewable fuels, making the dual-fuel boiler an ecological alternative to traditional heating systems. The combustion process reduces CO₂ emissions and other pollutants, supporting environmental protection.
Reduced maintenance frequency
Thanks to automation, the boiler does not require frequent user intervention. Pellet operation allows long periods between refueling, while wood enables long combustion cycles, reducing maintenance effort.
Main advantages of the Wood Pell boiler
- Dual-fuel – possibility to burn pellets and wood.
- Automation – pellet feeder and self-cleaning KIPI burner.
- Eco-friendly – meets Class 5 and Ecodesign standards for both fuels.
- High efficiency and low fuel consumption.
- Eligible for “Clean Air” program (ZUM list).
- Modern ecoTouch 860 controller with heating system integration.
- Convenient operation and flexible mode switching.
