Elements of insulated double-walled chimneys are made of:
- chimney insert made of acid-resistant sheet steel (grade 1.4404)
- thermal insulation made of special standard mineral wool with a thickness of 50 mm and density of approximately 100 kg/m3
- the outer shell of the insulated chimney is made of acid-resistant sheet steel (1.4301 polished)
Insulated chimneys are used for individual flue gas discharge from devices powered by gas, oil and eco-friendly solid fuels. They are mounted with special clamps to the building facade, boiler rooms or supported on independent support structures.
