The components of double-wall insulated chimneys are made of:
- chimney flue made of acid-resistant steel sheet (grade 1.4404)
- thermal insulation made of special standard mineral wool with a thickness of 50 mm and density of approximately 100 kg/m3
- outer jacket of the insulated chimney made of acid-resistant steel sheet (1.4301 bright finish)
Insulated chimneys are used for individual exhaust gas discharge from appliances powered by gas, oil, and eco-friendly solid fuels. They are mounted with special bands to building facades, boiler rooms, or supported on independent support structures.
