The elements of double-walled insulated chimneys are made of:
- chimney liner made of acid-resistant sheet steel (grade 1.4404)
- thermal insulation made of special standard mineral wool with a thickness of 50 mm and a density of approximately 100 kg/m3
- the outer jacket of the insulated chimney is made of acid-resistant sheet steel (1.4301 bright finish)
Insulated chimneys are used for individual exhaust gas disposal from devices fired with gas, oil, and ecological solid fuels. They are mounted with special brackets to building elevations, boiler rooms, or supported on independent supporting structures.
