Elements of insulated double-wall chimneys are made of:
- chimney liner made of acid-resistant steel (grade 1.4404)
- thermal insulation made of special standard mineral wool, 45 mm thick with a density of approximately 100 kg/m3
- the outer shell of the insulated chimney is made of acid-resistant steel (1.4301 bright)
Insulated chimneys are used for individual exhaust gas discharge from devices fired with gas, oil, and ecological solid fuels. They are mounted with special bands to building facades, boiler rooms, or supported on independent supporting structures.
