Description
Differential valve ZR is designed for installation in a central heating system with forced water circulation - circulation pump. Its task is to protect the pump installation from damage due to overheating and pressure that may occur when the pump stops forcing circulation. During pump operation, the valve remains closed. When the pump stops working, e.g. due to power failure, the valve opens automatically, allowing gravitational water circulation.
Installation:
The valve ports are equipped with pipe threads. The valve is mounted in the main pipe line, between the pump mounting points. The valve can operate in vertical and horizontal position at the outlet, as well as vertically and horizontally at the inlet to the boiler. The arrows made on the valve body must be consistent with the direction of water circulation in the installation. The differential valve ZR also performs the function of a union nut.
