Description
Differential valve ZR is intended for installation in a central heating system with forced water circulation - circulation pump. Its task is to protect the pump installation against damage caused by overheating and pressure that may occur when the pump stops forcing circulation. During pump operation, the valve remains closed. When the pump stops working, e.g. due to power loss, the valve opens automatically, allowing gravitational water circulation.
Installation:
The valve connections are equipped with pipe threads. The valve is mounted in the main pipeline thread, between the pump mounting points. The valve can operate in vertical and horizontal position on the outlet, as well as in vertical and horizontal position at the inlet to the boiler. The arrows on the valve body must correspond to the direction of water circulation in the installation. The differential valve ZR also performs the function of a union.
