Description
Differential valve ZR is designed to be installed in a central heating system with forced water circulation - a circulating pump. Its task is to protect the pump installation from damage due to overheating and pressure that may occur when the pump stops forcing circulation. During pump operation, the valve remains closed. When the pump stops working, e.g., due to power failure, the valve opens automatically, allowing gravity circulation of water.
Installation:
The valve connections are equipped with pipe threads. The valve is installed in the main pipe line, between the pump mounting points. The valve can operate in vertical and horizontal positions at the outlet, as well as vertically and horizontally at the inlet to the boiler. The arrows marked on the valve body must correspond to the direction of water circulation in the installation. The differential valve ZR also serves as a union fitting.
Technical parameters:
- operating temperature: 0-90°C, momentary 110°C
- nominal pressure: 0.001 - 6.0 bar,
- allowable pressure up to 7.0 bar,
- valve opening pressure at gravity circulation: 0.00-0.001 bar
- nominal flow cross-section through the valve 98-100% of the nominal cross-section of the installation
- noise level during work cycle up to 25 dB
