Circulating Pump APLHA 3

The APLHA 3 connect circulating pump from Grundfos is designed for pumping liquids in heating installations. The pump is equipped with a Bluetooth wireless communication system that allows control of the pump through the Grundfos GO Remote application installed on a smartphone. It enables remote pump configuration, startup and maintenance.
ALPHA 3 connects directly with the Grundfos Go Balance application enabling quick and easy hydraulic balancing.

AUTOADAPT Function

The AUTOADAPT function is integrated with radiator and floor heating regulation modes. This function allows adjustment of pump performance to the current heat demand in rooms throughout the year. AUTOADAPT allows you to find such pump parameter settings to ensure comfort with minimal energy consumption. As a result, pump startup and operation is fast, easy and safe.

ALPHA 3 has three regulation modes allowing adjustment of pump settings according to the type of heating system and installation operating point, these are:
- Proportional pressure mode
- Constant pressure mode
- Constant speed mode

The display shows the current power consumption value in [W] or current flow rate in [m3/h]. The current type of pump regulation is also displayed. The pump is self-venting through the heating system. The pump and motor form an integral unit without shaft sealing, bearings are lubricated by the pumped liquid, therefore the pump requires no maintenance.
