Description
The SMARTFLOW chimney draft regulator does not serve to increase the boiler class nor does it guarantee obtaining an ecodesign certificate for a boiler that did not previously have one. SMARTFLOW serves to regulate chimney draft, as the name itself indicates.
The SMARTFLOW regulator allows you to neutralize the negative impact of atmospheric factors on chimney operation, and thus also on the operation of heating devices. Chimney draft regulators clearly limit the impact of air temperature, atmospheric pressure, and wind strength and direction on the functioning of the heating system.
Operating principle:
The variability of atmospheric conditions is completely beyond our control. All heating devices require a strictly defined amount of air participating in the combustion process (chimney draft) for proper and safe operation, which is generated by the chimney and other systems working with it. This means that any deviation from the specified conditions causes uneconomical operation of the heating device. The simplest way to overcome these difficulties is to install a SMARTFLOW Chimney Draft Regulator. In very windy weather, SMARTFLOW limits the strength of chimney draft, while even very low wind speeds are sufficient for SMARTFLOW to generate the necessary negative pressure in the chimney pipe.
Devices currently available on the market either protect the chimney from variable weather, or regulate its draft, or serve to protect the chimney from erosion. Still others serve as filters for pollutants entering the atmosphere. SMARTFLOW is the only device available on the market that combines all these functionalities in one. It was designed with consideration of the laws of physics used in modern aerospace and architectural constructions. The aerodynamic design of the blades ensures that air enters and exits the chimney in a controlled manner, similar to how it works in jet engines.
