Application:
The anti-pollution check valve EA-RV284 is used as EA class protection according to PN-EN 1717 against backflow. It is installed in drinking water systems in places exposed to contact with liquids classified as category 2. It can be used as main protection on the water supply connection, installed directly behind the water meter.
Principle of operation:
The anti-pollution check valve has a movable sealing mushroom, which is pushed away from the seat closer or further depending on the flow rate. When the flow drops to zero, the spring moves the mushroom to the seat causing a seal and preventing backflow. The valve tightness, in accordance with the guidelines in the standards, is ensured at 3 cm back water column.
