Catalyst for soot combustion non-flammable and non-explosive

Performance properties and application of SADPAL.
SADPAL is a green powder - a mixture of inorganic salts, which at a temperature of 650°C decompose into substances with catalytic properties. It is used for complete combustion of soot and organic substances to the final products - carbon dioxide and water.
The use of SADPAL does not damage grate furnaces and flue gas discharge systems - on the contrary, it extends their service life (expert assessment dated 10.02.1991 carried out by the Institute of Materials Engineering AGH in Krakow).
SADPAL is a non-flammable, non-toxic, non-explosive substance that does not pose any risks due to improper use or overdose (PZH assessment - 24/B-23/91). For the past five years it has been successfully used by approximately 500 Polish facilities.

The use of SADPAL eliminates
1. Air pollution with soot (black smoke).
2. Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons PAH type 3,4 benzopyrene.
3. Carbon monoxide emissions into the atmosphere.
4. The need for mechanical cleaning of boilers from soot (deposits).
5. Downtime related to cleaning the furnace of soot.
6. Soot ignition in the chimney.

The use of SADPAL causes a reduction in
1. Sulfur dioxide emissions to the atmosphere by 12-10% (due to coal consumption savings).
2. Coal consumption, depending on its calorific value, by 12-20%.
3. SO2 and NOx content in flue gases by 10-20%.
4. The rate of corrosion of steel structural materials of grate furnaces of the boiler and flue gas discharge systems.
5. Improves the efficiency of cyclones, multicyclones, electrostatic precipitators.

Method of use:
In the first phase of using SADPAL, a so-called shock dose of the preparation should be applied. It should cause the combustion of soot deposits in the boiler and in the chimney duct. The increased dose of the preparation is applied until the smoke coming out of the chimney turns white (e.g., for a boiler with a surface area of 25 m2, the shock dose of SADPAL is approximately 6 kg of preparation introduced directly into the combustion chamber).
After applying the increased dose of SADPAL and achieving the desired effect, it should continue to be introduced into the combustion chamber of the boiler together with fuel in mixed portions of 1-2 kg per 1 ton of coal.
In large boilers, the powder can be introduced using a small screw feeder driven by a DC motor, located above the coal (fuel) feeder. For small boilers, the powder is applied by sprinkling coal on a pile. The flue gases coming out of the chimney ducts should have a white color.

Certificates, expert assessments, evaluations

SADPAL
- holds a certificate from the Institute of Inorganic Technology of the Warsaw University of Technology - ITN/99/90.
- received a positive assessment from the State Institute of Hygiene in Warsaw no. 24/B-23/91.
- holds expert assessments from the Institute of Materials Engineering of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow (regarding furnace corrosion) and from the Department of Environmental Protection of the Warsaw University of Technology (concerning the elimination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons PAH type 3,4 benzopyrene)
- also has an opinion from the Department of Environmental Protection of the Warsaw University of Technology on the effect of the preparation on the external environment.
